Michael E. Robertello, MD, FACC, FCCP, FACP

Board-Certified Cardiologist

Michael E. Robertello, MD, FACC, FCCP, FACPDedicated to staying at the leading edge of heart care.
“When I was a freshmen in high school, I volunteered to work in the emergency room of our local hospital. What the doctors there were able to accomplish in an ER setting amazed me and piqued my interest in a medical career. I continued volunteering in the emergency room during high school and upon graduation applied to medical school. Although I started my medical career in internal medicine, I had always been interested in the field of critical care medicine. So, four years after earning my MD, I began my two-year fellowship in critical care.

“Now, many years later, I am a fellowship-trained cardiologist who has met special board requirements and then gone on to pass medical specialty examinations in the fields of cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, internal medicine and critical care medicine. Do these board certifications mean that my medical education has finally been completed? No, because to this day, I still take advanced courses to keep me on the leading edge of the cardiology field. The fact is, my education is never-ending because the science of cardiology is continuously progressing. I am as eager to learn about the latest in cardiology now as I was back in 1997 when I began my cardiology fellowship training at Dartmouth.”
