Advanced Care
Tomorrow’s technology, today.
At Green Mountain Cardiology, we don’t just promise advanced, comprehensive care, we deliver it. Here are just a few of the services our heart care team provides:

Echocardiography – Ultrasound identifies problems of the heart valves and muscle function for easier diagnosis.
Transesophageal Echocardiography – An advanced diagnostic test, using a special probe placed within the esophagus, that uses ultrasound waves to make images of the heart chambers, valves and surrounding structures.
Nuclear Imaging – Cameras assess coronary blood flow and ventricular function.
Anticoagulation Testing – Trained staff are available to provide convenient in-office finger-stick blood tests.
Holter Monitoring – The size of a hand-held cassette player, Holter monitors are worn for 24 to 48 hours and detect irregular heartbeats that may not appear during an electrocardiogram.
Exercise Treadmill Stress Test – Measures the heart’s response to physical stress from brisk walking and/or jogging.
Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography – A medical stress test using the medication called dobutamine and echocardiography to assess the function of the heart compared to the function of the heart at rest.
Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis – Uses thoracic electrical impedance to estimate cardiac hemodynamics.
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring – Monitors blood pressure at regular intervals throughout the day and night.
Electrophysiology – Examines the electrical behavior of the heart by recording electrical activity within the heart chambers.
